You will see (very quickly) benefits from drinking a lot of healthy liquids.
There are two different methods in which you can keep up sufficient amount of collagen and elasticity.
First, you must correctly feed yourself and your cells, which means drinking enough water and taking the right amount of vitamins.
Second, you can use external help, which means creams that help to maintain the healthiness of the outer layer of your skin and prevent water loss and the signs of aging.
Those who are using the metric system, it is advised to drink 1.5 –2 liters of water per day. I would say that is about half a gallon of water, which is about 8 glasses of 8 oz. water. Now that seems like a lot of water!
I can hear it all the time that for some of you it seems impossible to drink that much. Some of you say that water is just so tasteless that you just cannot drink it.
I have something to say to them: when was the last time that you ran a mile? Or you did some jumping jacks or played tennis or anything that made you sweat? When you exercise and push yourself to a limit there will be nothing else on earth that will taste better that water!
That’s how I started too. Later, my body just got "used to it" and even without exercising I wanted to drink water.
A lot of times our mind mistakes hunger with thirst.
Sometimes we think that we are so hungry that we must eat or we will die right away from hunger. Is this familiar?
Most of the time this is just a message from our body that we are dehydrated.
Try this:
Drink a glass or two of water and if you are still hungry then eat something 20-30 minutes later.
I know, lots of times we want other beverages besides water. I have to pinpoint out sugar.
Even if we drink 100% juice, read the labels for sugar content. Lots of times it says no added sugar but they only mean that they don’t add extra sugar to the concentration, only water.
The bad trick is that the company who makes the "syrup" puts all the sugar in it. So actually there can be a lot of sugar even in the 100% juices. But not all of them; read the labels!
The best way would be to squeeze your own juices. I know it is more expensive... On the other hand, you need to buy the juice maker only once. Oranges, apples, carrots are not that expensive. You decide!
