Depression after surgery

Depression after breast augmentation surgery

Maybe it seems like that I really want to talk to you out of surgery… and mention all the negative things that I can think of like this one: depression after surgery.

As I said prior, if you REALLY know what you are doing, go for it. But I think it is good to think about "all the bad stuff" too that can hit you, so you are prepared.

So, here it is: depression after your breast augmentation surgery:

1. As soon as you wake up and painkillers wear off, do not be surprised if you are not on cloud nine. Right after surgery when the pain hits you, almost all women question themselves whether they were out of their mind when they went ahead with surgery…

It is normal. Why? You are/were healthy, paid for something better and now you are in pain. And it is not just the pain but also the feeling that you depend on others help so much can be bothersome.

2. Once you see your new breasts, you can be socked about all the puffiness, and about how much your breasts are swollen. Probably you will constantly guess what’s the real size going to be when all the bruising is gone. That can cause a lot of anxiety and panic.

3. Depression can happen if you had different expectation about the outcome. Maybe if you see the asymmetry of your breasts or you wanted them bigger/smaller. If you don’t like what you see and you think about all the money you invested, you can get down.

4. When something goes wrong and you develop other more serous health issues because of your implants, you can go through depression. And the ordeal that it requires to become healthy again.

5. Plastic surgery can put a real financial stress on you and your family. That can lead to a very unhealthy relationship. This is especially true if you need another surgery. Many women only have money saved for a one time surgery and don’t have any savings in case if something goes wrong. And things CAN go wrong. Even if your doctor says that he will do a correction for “free”, you will need to pay for the hospital stay and for the anesthesiologist. But not all doctors are so generous!

6. False expectations regarding relationship. Many girls are hoping that plastic surgery will fix their relationship or get a better more meaningful one. Fake boobs will not buy you love! Fake boobs will get you more attention, but only temporarily.

Big boobs will NEVER go out of style, but FAKE will. Ask any guy. Most of them like big boobs; big NATURAL boobs. Women and their plastic boobs became a factory project, they are on an assembly line. Go in small, come out big. It is a mass production, and the result will loose interest. Guys have seen it all…
