Fat Transfer Breast Augmentation Surgery. No More Fake Implants!
Ladies, no fake plastic implants here!
Fat Transfer Breast Augmentation is another option.
Just your own tissues. Fat tissues.
So what exactly is fat transfer breast augmentation?
It is a very expensive procedure that gives you fuller breasts without the implants.
The surgeon does a liposuction from your thighs; butt, belly, waist or whichever is the best option and injects the fat back to your breasts.
The procedure is done differently in the US and in Japan.
US procedure: besides the regular method where the fat gets injected back as it was derived, Dr. Coleman developed his method called the "LipoStructure" method where he makes it possible for the derived fat to survive.
It is known that the cell function of the fat through liposuction can weaken significantly. If it weakens the chances of fat tissue survival becomes less. If the fat tissue is not alive, eventually the fat will be absorbed by the body. Dr. Coleman’s LipoStructure technique overcomes this problem and makes it possible for the derived fat cells to be able to function when implanted back to the breasts.
Japanese procedure: also makes it possible for the fat cells to survive. Dr. Yoshimura’s procedure is called: CAL -> cell assisted lipotransfer.
When the fat is derived through liposuction it is divided it into two parts. One of it remains as is but the other part is used to derive as many stem cells as possible. Later these stem cells are mixed with the fat tissues and ready for implantation.
According to Dr. Yoshimura, the extra stem cells are needed to help to form new blood vessels. Blood vessels are needed to help the implanted fat tissues to become part of the local breast fat tissues. Otherwise the fat will not survive and eventually will disappear from your breasts or can cause lumping.
To tell you the truth I really don’t understand what is the difference between the two methods besides the extra stem cells treatment by Dr. Yoshimura. But I am not a doctor. Dr. Yoshimura’s procedure is more explained while Dr. Coleman procedure is a "new technique". It must have a difference because Dr. Yoshimura’s technique is not available in the US.
Dr. Coleman also guarantees the results that you want to see and the survival of fat cells in your body.
I have contacted to Dr. Yoshimura and this is what he said:
Q: What do you think when and where this procedure will be available in the United States and Europe? (Oct 29, 2008)
Dr Yoshimura: "For USA, it will take some time due to the regulation. Some doctors are trying to start this procedure other area of the world, such as Russia, Spain, Germany, Korea, Israel, but not yet decided, maybe next year."
