Probably the second if not the first thing women ask when they want something is: "How much?"

So, how much are breast implants?

It depends on where you are. If you are in the United States, prices can really vary from State to State. Expect to pay about $4.5-8000. Breast augmentation costs are higher on the East and West Coast than in the Midwest. Of course it also depends on the doctor’s reputation. Costs can be pretty high in Texas as well. Don’t forget: complications can always arise and you need to know, who will cover the costs if new procedures needed.

Asian breast implants are always cheaper but the unknown is bigger. You need to worry about traveling costs, hotel reservations; you will get less information about the facility. The one-on-one meeting with the doctor before the procedure is not possible that frequently as with your local doctor. However if money is a big factor, it is worth to look into agencies that specialize for international cosmetic travel. Breast implant costs in Asia (except Japan, where it is very expensive) can be a lot less expensive.

In Europe prices are somewhere between the US and Asia. East Europe is still a good destination to get your cosmetic surgery done. The staff is qualified and the environment can be somewhat close to the American standards than in Asia. In Hungary, where I live, a top-notch procedure is around $3.5-4000. You will find the same prices in Poland. West Europe prices tend to get close to costs in the US.
