The Media and Beauty Business

Ads and billboards are everywhere stating how you are supposed to look. The media and beauty business are like brothers and sisters. They will do anything to sell YOU something that brings them cash.

The bottom line is that people want to make money.

The beauty business is a huge opportunity for a lot of them. The only thing they have to do is to ruin your self-confidence and at the same time offer you something to solve it!

That will mean cash out of your pocket! It is everywhere! Just look around and look at it close: Like:"... you don’t have those beautiful long eyelashes? No problem, buy these! You don’t have the most sparkling teeth? You don’t have 36C boobs at least? My gosh that’s awful! No man will like you ever! You must have plastic surgery!..." And the lists can go on and on. You turn on the TV and you see beauty ads non-stop and in the end you will buy that magical thing.

Ads are making you feel that you are lacking something. You are lacking so you must spend money to fix it! Right? Wrong! At least most of the time.

You shouldn’t spend money hoping that if you buy that thing or do plastic surgery your problem and guilt will disappear and that guy you like so much will fall in love with you.

It will not happen, if you don’t like yourself before the changes.

As I said the beauty business is a huge money making system. It uses the media and places ads that are not always true.

The covergirl on your favorite magazine never really "real". See it for yourself. It is so easy to alter a picture by a computer.

Click on the girl to see what was changed by a computer. Do you see how her breasts were enhanced? It is that easy.. And if we believe everything we will think very little about ourself.

Or do you want to see stars without makeup? The site is in French but you don't need to speak the language to see it for yourself. If you scroll down on that site you can click on the numbers that will show somebody famous that you don't often see like this. You could say that can be done by computers too. It is true but most of the time that is what we look like, so I think that is pretty real!
