Small Breasts After Pregnancy and Nursing
Did you ended up with Small Breasts after Pregnancy and Nursing? Do you want to know to get your original size back?
What happens with your breasts after pregnancy? Well, the outcome is very simply:
1. Your breasts truly became bigger: Congratulations, you won the lottery! Consider yourself lucky if your breasts are bigger but your waistline went back to the your pre-pregnancy size.
2. Your breasts got bigger but you weigh 10-20+lbs extra as well: If you have bigger breasts, but you also put on weight, it is up to you what you make out of it. I’m honestly saying (and not out of jealousy) that I rather lose breasts size but look lighter and feel healthier. I rather exercise and put myself thru a diet knowing that my breast size will shrink. I rather have killer legs and a good bum than bigger breasts and baggy clothes.
3. Your breasts ended up looking the same. This option is also very good for some but unfortunately this option doesn’t happen too often either.
4. Your breasts got significantly smaller and more saggy. If it makes you feel better, most women fall into this category. How to prevent small and saggy breasts?
There are some "natural" options which you should try but there is no guarantee.
1. The younger you give birth, the more likely that your breasts will not sag that much. Age matters. The connective tissues are stronger and more flexible when you are young. It is easier to get the original size and shape back when you are young. Of course this doesn’t meant that you should have unprotected sex just to have your baby young and keep your breasts in shape...
2. Use good bras! If you are an A cup when you start out, be prepared that you will easily become a B or C+ cup during pregnancy and nursing. If you are and A cup before pregnancy, basically you can run around with a bra that gives you the lightest support. Not anymore. During pregnancy you will experience what larger breasted women mean by breast SUPPORT when they talk about bras! It is very important to support your breasts while they are growing and stretching, don’t let them be pulled down by gravity.
3. If you have too much milk coming in at the beginning, pump the milk out. Don’t let it stretch. This way you will enhance your milk supply, but also won’t stretch your skin to the point when it is harder for your skin to shrink back. Nurse your baby frequently: it is the best for your baby, best for your breasts and best for your waist line.
4. When you ready to stop nursing, wean your baby gradually. It is good for your baby but it is also good for your skin to adjust slowly.
5. Try to massage regularly using ice cubes. You need a good supportive bra all day around but you also need to "exercise" your connective tissues.
6. If you can’t stand ice-cubes, warm and cold shower will do.
7.
Exercises.
Light weight lifting can help to build the muscles under your breasts. This will help to lift your breasts, giving you a perkier look. If you like swimming, you will get the same benefit.
8.
Breast firming creams are good
if you only need a light correction but probably creams with vitamin E and massage can provide the same benefit.
